Winterset was established in 1977, performing construction services for towns, local communities, and state agencies. Since the first project in Huntington, Vermont, Winterset, Inc. has developed considerable experience in the construction of roads, bridges, railroads and utilities projects. As a general contractor, Winterset, Inc. operates primarily in Vermont and northern New Hampshire where it has gained a strong, positive reputation. The company name has become very familiar around the area, especially in the Lyndonville, Vermont community, where the main office is located. Winterset employs a knowledgeable and experienced work force - as many as up to 100 strong during a construction season. Winterset has constructed many types of bridges with varying foundations such as spread footings, pile bearings, and integral abutments, and has extensive experience with earthwork. Winterset's long-standing and successful experience record with the state of Vermont and New Hampshire, along with their diverse construction background, uniquely distinguishes the company.

As Winterset, Inc. moves into its 36th year, Winterset, Inc. would like to thank everyone who has supported them and allowed Winterset to grow and expand over more successful years. Thanks to all of the employees of Winterset and their families.
