Winterset, Inc. is a member of three different professional construction organizations:
the Associated General Contractors of Vermont, the Associated General Contractors of New Hampshire, and the New Hampshire Good Roads Association. Below you can find some information about each of the organizations.

The Associated General Contractors of Vermont, Inc. is a state chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America, Inc., a nationwide organization representing the interests of more than 32,000 construction industry professionals.
AGC/VT has more than 150 active general contractor, associate and affiliate members, including equipment and material suppliers, insurance companies, bonding firms, financial institutions, consultants and others with an interest in the construction industry.
Mission Statement: The mission of the AGC/VT is to serve as the advocate for the highway and building contracting community. We promote the free enterprise system encompassing social, environmental economic considerations which are consistent with the Associated General Contractors of America's Motto of Skill - Integrity - Responsibility. We accomplish our services and educational pursuits through collective strength and unity. We are the association of choice for the contracting industry in Vermont. |

The New Hampshire Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America was chartered in 1949 to represent the varied interests of the State's construction-related companies. As a non-profit organization, the AGC of NH is run by its members, for it members. The AGC of NH is a state-wide construction organization that has been serving contractors for over 60 years, and has played a major role in the industry.
The chapter serves three divisions: the Building Contractors Division, the Highway Contractors Division, and the Associates Division. The Associates Division includes subcontractors, suppliers, insurance companies, etc. Through active committee direction, the professional staff of the AGC or NH works as an extension of its member companies, acting in a variety of areas to meet the needs of this dynamic industry.
Mission Statement: The Associated General Contractors of New Hampshire, Inc. will encourage membership of responsible and honorable members for the greater power of combined efforts to achieve the goals of the organizations. The organization, acting as an authoritative body, will work through its membership to promote better relations with the public and other organizations to achieve the goals set forth by its membership and encourage sound business practice for the construction industry. |

New Hampshire Good Roads Association
Since 1904, the New Hampshire Good Roads Association's mission has been to encourage the development of a safe, efficient and environmentally sound highway transportation system in New Hampshire. The Association works through its members and other organizations to achieve this goal. Our members come from all parts of the state and region, and include both individuals concerned about the safety of New Hampshire highways, and businesses with direct and indirect involvement in the policies and programs that impact the maintenance and construction of New Hampshire's roads. |
